In the world of TV advertising sometimes a job can be a hard slog- sitting outside in the Lancashire wind and rain, urgently trying to get that all important shot before the sun dips down, or working with an adorable but damn stubborn dog that refuses to sit or do anything as soon as the cameras are rolling. But then again, some jobs come along that are a joy from start to finish, such as our recent catwalk shoot for the JD Williams’ brand “Fast Fashion.”

Plans are set for an exciting new project with the students at Blackburn College.
With the help of White Noise, final year students will have the opportunity to produce a high-end music video which will include local talent Miranda…. who has previously supported Dianna Vickers.
Both our Managing Director and Executive Producer attended the college.
The collaboration between White Noise and the Media Centre at Blackburn College could provide the students with the opportunity to gain very valuable work experience.

Recently we worked once again with the Manchester Opera House in order to create a TV commercial for their annual Christmas Pantomime. This year’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs features famous faces such as Coronation Street and Strictly Come Dancing star, Tina O’Brien as Snow White and Key 103′s Mike Toolan as the Prince. They are joined by Deena Payne and Andy Devine from Emmerdale in this year’s production.

Beginning in January 2011, the ITV Granada weather will be sponsored by Lancashire’s Ribby Hall Village. White Noise has created a variety of sponsorship bumpers for the campaign that features footage filmed at the holiday village near Blackpool in order to help the company build their brand identity and awareness.

David Fishwick, a Lancashire-based van dealers, is on prime-time TV with a White Noise commercial.
The Colne business can be seen on ITV1 around some of the Nation’s favourite programmes, such as “The XFactor,” “Coronation Street” and “Emmerdale.” David Fishwick takes centre stage in the commercial, which also featured an appearance from Mr Fishwick’s helicopter. The commercial was shot at the spacious Big Shed Studios in Manchester, which allowed us to shoot the selection of vans and mini buses that Mr Fishwick has on offer.

We have been working with the international company, Innovation First to work on the American-born advert for the latest robotic toy, Hexbug Nano.
Hexbug Nano is defined as the “newest autonomous robotic creature in the Hexbug line up” according to www.hexbug.com. White Noise has been working on a re-edit of the original US commercial, which includes international voice-overs for a European audience. The commercial can be seen in the UK on Nickelodeon this Christmas, as well as versions of the commercial being aired in Germany, Japan, Italy, Australia and the Czech Republic.
